Beats, Rhymes-Life presents Grim Up North

Beats, Rhymes-Life returns to Sunbird Records for its official relaunch on Bank Holiday Sunday 7th May. We’re hyped to have the Grim Up North crew performing for us.

Grim Up North (G.U.N) are putting the north back on the map with a collective of the best underground & under the radar northern emcees and beat makers around. Based outta Chorley, Lancs (the home of Krispy 3), Grim Up North bring the energy wherever they go, raising the roof & guaranteeing to get you bouncing around like how they did it in the 90s. One love G.U.N

Headlining for us is Big Red Tread with support coming from his crew mates Misunderstood and Vee, who will be performing a beat battle before Big Red takes to the stage.

Also on support, we’re hyped to bring back a regular to Beats, Marx. He always smashes it out the park when he plays for us and has supported the likes of Obie Trice and Tinchy Strider.

Djs on the night are Beats resident Craig Kirkham plus guest DJ Bobby Swerve.
