The People’s Republic Of Sunbird Records presents Ceremony East Coast and Test Plan
Ceremony East Coast is John Fedowitz on (bass-) guitar and vocal mic and Sandra Fedowitz on drums. You
might have also seen them as the current rhythm section of A Place to Bury Strangers and John is a former
member of the 90s shoegaze band Skywave. The two-piece band makes you dance with an intense live
show: Drone bass lines, white noise guitars, savage drums and pitch dark vocals. Nothing polished, highs
and lows. Each live show and record is raw, real and CEC style: love songs with distortion.
Test Plan are looking for the sweet spot between dancing and moshing. Formed of Rory Dickinson, Michalis Fragkiadakis, and Max Mason, the London-based DIY trio cultivate a ferocious blend of noise-rock, dance-punk, and post-hardcore.
Winds of overloaded guitar feedback and distortion are punctuated by crunching drums and throbbing bass, all bound together by howls of angst and chaotic energy. Their dynamic live performances beckon a meeting point where volume and energy collide – intense, visceral, and unfiltered, hitting like a punch in the gut: sweat-soaked, teeth-rattling, and gloriously unhinged.
