The Third Instalment of Neotribe with our most ambitious line up yet:

GANS

GANS are a 2 piece from Birmingham, England. They write music about love and hate. Inspired by Dark Rum, Dark Literature and Bleak Skylines.

Known for their brooding intensity, angular guitars and darkly atmospheric sound. Blending raw energy with sharp social commentary, GANS channel the spirit of classic post-punk while forging their own fierce modern identity. With a loyal following on the UK underground scene, GANS deliver visceral live shows that are as cathartic as they are compelling.

Single ‘I Think I Like You’ was described by Lounder than Wars John Robb as;

“It’s a genius shouty stomp of a single like a meeting between Insane in the Membrane and the Sleaford Mods but with guitars. A big bouncing beast of a tune that has a hook line in its kitchen sink drama…”

Latest single ‘IT’S JUST LIFE’ is currently climbing the BBC 6Music playlist, following in the footsteps of previous singles and tour supports with Big Special and Maruja, it has all lead up to the release of the debut album ‘Good For The Soul’ out 19th September 2025 via Strap Originals

Meryl Streek
Fast rising punk producer, MERYL STREEK has released his brand new album Songs for the Deceased in 2024.

The new album features collaborations with Post Punk Podge, Oliver Ackermann (APTBS), Phil Wyer (Owl Sounds), Molly Vulpyne (Vulpynes), Pete Holidai (Radiators from Space and Trouble Pilgrims), Kingsley Hall (Benefits) and Scottish punk duo Bratakus.

“As vital as anything you’re likely to hear” – Far out magazine

“Unflinching and unforgettable, songs for the deceased is a late contender for album of the year” – Hotpress Magazine

“Songs for the deceased is a bleak and very important listen” – Kerrang

“This is an artist who will never turn away from confronting corruption and injustice and we thank him for that” – Clash Magazine

YAANG
“It’s already been quite the year for YAANG. Announced as part of illustrious hype list NME 100 where they were heralded as “one of the most exciting bands to come from the North West.” Growing their list of radio supporters to Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq, Emily Pilbeam, Indie Forever, New Music Fix (BBC Radio 6 Music) and John Kennedy (Radio X). With backing too from The Line of Best Fit, DIYmag, Louder than War, and Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon.

Formed when Davey Moore (vocals/sampler) met Oliver Duffy (Guitars/vocals) at a rhythmic awareness class at the University of Salford, the line up was later completed by Ben White (Ex-Working Men’s Club) on bass duties – Manchester punk trio YAANG have ever since been steadily building their reputation for furious, high-energy, live shows, powered by the rocket-fuel combo of pulsating drum loops, clangorous guitars and a wicked sense of humour.”

LUNATHUG
THE LESS SAID, THE BETTER

An electronic music project from the mind and personality of Miles Berry . The debut EP “THE LESS SAID, THE BETTER” was released in 2023, the solo project has now transformed into a 3 piece – If you liked Industrial Synth Electronica do not miss this.

High Wayves

HIGHWAYVES are an artistic collective that have crafted a sound that races from spacious to suffocating, combining the dark aggression of grunge with dreamlike washes reminiscent of shoe-gaze. Each piece is punctuated with intimate, poetic lyrics that are as personal as they are universal. HIGHWAYVES are unashamedly earnest, laying bare their deepest emotions for all to join in collective catharsis.

HIGHWAYVES take an obsessive approach to their art; writing, recording and producing their own music as well as writing, directing and editing their videos. Their uncompromising approach is the key to creating a deep connection with their audience.
